Electoral College
I think that the Electoral College should stay just because it is a good back-up plan if it's ever needed. Like in the election of 2000, Bush wasn't elected by the people, but by the electors- just as the Founding Fathers had planned. Bush got 271 of the Electoral College votes while Al Gore got 266 Electoral College votes. Just in case the candidates tie when the people are the ones voting, the Electoral College will be there for the decision. Also, with the equal representation for each state, the candidates have to focus on smaller, less populous states as well as the bigger ones. I think that the Electoral College would be a good thing to keep, because of the rare occasions that we would really need it.
